Harbour Wellbeing - The Commitment
At Harbour Wellbeing, I am committed to creating a safe, relaxed, and non-judgemental space where every individual feels truly heard and understood.
I am passionate about helping people really get to know themselves, and find out what their core beliefs and values are - as these are the things that shape who we are.
With this information, we then have the foundations to be able to build, and grow.
I truly believe that when one person invests in their own healing it generates a sense of empowerment - and then the positive effects ripple outwards. This can help with strengthening relationships and uplifting the wider community around an individual.
Guided by compassion, evidence-based practice, and genuine lived experience, I like to work collaboratively with my clients every step of the way. My aim is to support you to put down what ever it is you’ve been carrying, feel a little lighter, and then be able to make steps toward moving forward, in alignment with your true self.
The Therapist
Hello, I'm Leanne and I am the Founder of Harbour Wellbeing.
I am a registered Mental Health Nurse, as well as a fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, and I have over 10 years of experience working within mental health.
I founded Harbour Wellbeing in 2025, after my second maternity leave, with the hope of creating a healthier balance for my family and building something meaningful for the wider community.
My passion for this work comes not only from professional training, but also from my own lived experiences and the support I received when I needed it most. I believe strongly in making space for yourself — to nurture your mental health and wellbeing. When we do this, we not only grow as individuals, but also strengthen the relationships and networks around us.
I have a long history of working with children, teens, and young adults, as well as parents, and I’ve found that my relaxed, no-pressure approach really complements this work. I absolutely love supporting young people as they navigate life’s challenges, and since having my own children, my passion has also extended to supporting parents’ mental health. I genuinely believe that to best support your children, you need to look after and strengthen your own wellbeing too.
